At Counting Sheep Campers, we know just how important your four-legged friend is, and how much better it is when you can bring him or her along on your adventure! Dogs just love life in the campervan, and are an important part of many of our family adventures in Scotland.

Our campervans SKYE & SANDY our the official dog friendly campervans. The campervans are modern 2 & 4 berth VW campervans which are easy to drive and  perfectly suited to narrower Scottish roads! Skye is a 2 berth campervan with three travelling seats and a large comfy U-shaped lounge in the rear that converts to a huge double bed or two full size singles at night. Sandy has 4 travelling seats and also sleeps 4 , sleeping 2 in the lower beds and 2 in the roof bed. The campervans are also equipped with heating, fully equipped kitchen, including a gas hob, fridge and plenty of cupboard space to keep your food supply separate from your dog’s evening meal!

Holidays without the family pet can often leave everyone feeling a bit guilty, but with our dog friendly campervans SKYE & SANDY, the whole family can explore Scotland together. Whether you enjoy whale watching, hill walking, a day at the Highland Games or simply getting to know Scotland at little better, you can rest assured your dog can join in on your adventure.

There are many dog friendly campsites across Scotland where you can get a rest from driving, with fantastic dedicated exercise areas and dog walks on-site. Lagnaha Farm at Argyll is particularly well recommended by dog-owners, as there are plenty of safe spaces for off-lead walks. Cobleland Caravan and Camping Site is another little gem, which sits beside a lazy river; great for your dog to cool off in after a long day. Please note that our dog friendly campervans post hire are cleaned and disinfected to the highest possible standards after each use or alternatively if you wish you can look to hire one of our non dog campervans for example Pebbles.
